The Vortex has helped to get our carpets cleaner and drier, and our customers deserve the best!
Drew and I purchased our Vortex machine in November of 2007. We are a little different than some other companies, as we focus on commercial work. The size of the Vortex allows us to carry all of our equipment on one truck. Sometimes we would have to take two vehicles to many jobs. We will go to a commercial building and clean the carpet as well as the tile and grout, vct the floors and the windows. We can easily carry a rotary machine, CRB machine, OP machine and CIMEX. If needed, we can also carry mop and mop buckets, an auto scrubber, ladders and window cleaning equipment. It all fits inside the box along with that humongous waste tank.
Some of you will say you have a Vortex, why do you need all the other machines to clean carpet? You are not a complete carpet cleaner without the other equipment.
Our regular customers have noticed the "Big Machine" and the comment they usually make is, "you guys have gotten serious about carpet cleaning."
We were cleaning a restaurant and the crowd was coming out of the theatre at the time. We watched many people checkout the machine while it was running and we passed out over 20 business card and booked two tile and grout jobs on the spot. The restaurants and businesses we clean have all been happier because of the Big Machine--we can clean faster so the managers don't have to stay as late
I have been very happy with the service from BLUEline. We had a couple of minor problems and they were taken care of promptly. The one reason we chose the Vortex over the Aerotech was the distributor network. I feel better when there is a trained mechanic in the area to service the machine if needed. I have changed the oil on the diesel truck, hung the water pump oil as well as performing the first 50 hour service myself. It was pretty simple to do.
We looked at other set ups like a Genesis 59 in a Sprinter truck. But in the end it would still be a 59 blower and a small waste tank and not have the capacity to dual wand like you can with a #7 blower or the heat of the Vortex.
I am happy that I don't look like every other cargo van on the road. The Vortex has helped to get our carpets cleaner and drier, and our customers deserve the best!
In addition, we cleaned several houses in a little retirement community recently; we do this once a year. All the houses are ranch houses of about 900 sq ft. It sure was nice to pull into one driveway and clean two houses at once. All of the nice retired ladies sure loved the BIG TRUCK. It made an all day, one truckmount job into an easy and productive morning.

"This is the greatest investment I have ever made." "In 1960 I bought my first carpet cleaning machine (A Roly Scrubber and a Wet/Dry Vac). I was a carpet installer. In those days we would take the living room carpet and put it in the bedroom. Since the room was empty we would ask if we could clean the old carpet. There were three in my crew and I am 70 years old. "Set up is so quick, cleaning with two wands at once is a trip." "We do the Christian Legacy Hotel here in town. It used to take us 7 hours with our Hydramaster 4.7 CDS machine. With the Vortex it takes 4 hours. The Hydramaster burns over three gallons of gasoline an hour. The Vortex burns about a gallon and a half of diesel fuel. That's VERY nice when gas is currently at $2.45 a gallon. It takes three to four strokes across the carpet to get it clean with the Hydramaster. It takes 1 stroke with the Vortex.
